前幾章從各領域討論萬物的意識形態
也在中間穿插介紹從各學科中如何詮釋意識型態
文內非常有"歡迎時空旅人派對的霍金"和"銀翼殺手2049某些場景"的即視感

講到萬物的意識研究
當我們在思考人造意識和外星物種存在與否的時候
卻更少討論地球上其他生物的意識問題
點出了許多反駁人類沙文主義（人為萬物之靈）的實驗
(節錄 動物意識研究 //bit.ly/2Lsfxte )

書中也提到..星際效應的編劇顧問本身也是意識研究的學者..
依據真實研究所建立建立起的科幻宇宙, 也算給增加作品本身的厚度
後者也生成許多可供研究的假設..持續的衝擊啟蒙時代以來濫觴的二元論..

意識也持續滋養出種種 cyberpunk 或 queer player 的文體

我以為本書可作為廣泛融合跨領域(文學 物理 心理 )的科普書

當年閱讀前面部分覺得滿淺顯易懂的，介紹哲學上「我」、「意識」的大哉問，後面的部分就比較看不懂，有機會再看一次
