紅蘿蔔白蘿蔔英文

白蘿蔔英文是 white radish（聽發音），名詞用法，其中 white 是白色的意思，而 radish 是指蘿蔔，而蘿蔔有分為白蘿蔔、青蘿蔔和櫻桃蘿蔔三種，換句話說，radish 可以表示白蘿蔔、青蘿蔔或櫻桃蘿蔔，這三種的外觀樣貌長得不太一樣，白蘿蔔應該不用多解釋，就是我們一般在大賣場或市場可以買到的那種，青蘿蔔是綠色的，臺灣很少見，櫻桃蘿蔔的外皮像櫻桃般的紅色，裡面的肉是偏白色帶半透明狀，臺灣也很少見到，所以如果要更精確一點的表示我們一般說的白蘿蔔，可以在 radish 前面加上白色 white 來形容，寫成 white radish 這樣會比較清楚。

看到這裡肯定有很多人會有疑問，蘿蔔的種類不包含紅蘿蔔嗎？恩～是的，紅蘿蔔也稱為胡蘿蔔，屬於繖形科（Apiaceae）胡蘿蔔屬（Daucus）的植物，不屬於蘿蔔，紅蘿蔔的英文叫做 carrot（聽發音），跟 radish 完全無關。

leek是大葱；但是Chinese leek是韭菜。

上面提到radish是小萝卜，而Chinese radish就是我们最熟悉的白萝卜。
